Char Char ~ Witchy!
Charlotte Gallagher’s brand new solo show, Char Char ~ Witchy!, spirals around Char Char’s spiritual journey as she uncovers why in the world she wants to be so very witchy and whether everything in our lives might just be a cult…
Or a multi-level marketing scheme.
Char Char descends into the underworld (her past) on a sacred quest to unveil -or invent! – a spirituality that honours her body and the earth. Is it possible? With a little help from the audience, in a game called, “Let’s Have A Ritual!”, we might just save the planet. You’re welcome.

Searlit Ní Gallachoir ~ Fantasy Ireland
Charlotte - ahem - Searlit, is a seeker. She’s on a quest to discover her IRISHNESS. She’s English, but she has Irish blood, and she’s decided to find the mysticism and magic that Hollywood, romance novels and the Irish tourist board have promised her. She’s packed her bags and moved to Galway. She lives in a little house by the sea. She’s waiting for magic...
But she’s waded into the bog of a very dangerous question: Is she really Irish at all?

Constance & Eva
Constance and Eva is a new play about two sisters who abandoned their privileged upbringing in Ireland to become political radicals. Constance Markievicz and Eva Gore-Booth battled imperialism, fought for women's rights, and sought to redefine gender and sexuality.
Constance and Eva is a multimedia reimagining of the lives of these two sisters, bringing together archive footage, found text and performance to tell their story.

Collaboration MWG
I love working with award-winning filmmaker, moving image artist, and performance artist Michelle Williams Gamaker. Williams Gamaker’s cinematic worlds are lush, sumptuous, sites of revolution where marginalised characters and actors may take over a film set. She surrounds herself with exciting artists and her work thrums with the creativity she invites, encourages and conducts.
My credits here include
Thieves (2022) I played real-life 30s film producer Lotta Woods. This film showed in the South London Gallery exhibition, Our Mountains Are Painted on Glass.
The Eternal Return (2019) I played the actor Sabu’s wife, Marilyn - another real-life rendering!
The Fruit Is There To Be Eaten (2017) We re-made Black Narcissus and I played Sister Clodagh, dismayed to discover Krishna Istha’s Kanchi taking over the nunnery and the film-set.
